Great event, great course.
Anybody who might be missing this tournament because they didn't
enjoy Tyler Park's course, they need to try it again. The Buck's
County Disc Golf Alliance has done an amazing amount of work and
improvements. I have played over 170 courses and 3 years ago
Tyler was one of my least favorite, now it is in my top 20. I
hope next year more people will come and enjoy this tournament
and course that has grown to be a true test of technical
placement GOLF.

I've always seen the
potential at Tyler, this year I saw that potential realized!
The Bucks County Disc Golf Alliance (Whitetails and Squirrels)
have made this course one of the premiere courses in the MADC
region and likely the world. The long to longs absolutely
succeed in providing a 'golf' like experience, and by that I
don't mean 'look' but 'feel' and 'strategy'. You have to play
'smart', very smart to shoot well; going for something that just
isn't there will make you pay, and pay big. I sincerely hope
that course designers and pros in our and surrounding regions
will take an afternoon or two to go to Tyler and see what a disc
GOLF course can be.
As far as the organizing and running of major events, the BCDGA
is right at the top with a group of organizers that likely
equals the number of top organizers of other entire regions.
They are a model of local organization and team work.
This event is without a doubt on my 'Must Play' list for 2005.
Congrats to Mike, Tim, Leslie and all the other winners.

02-16-2005 On February 16th, our club unfortunately
discovered that a basket had been intentionally removed.
Specifically, basket #27, our dedication hole to Eric C. Yetter.
While the loss of any of our baskets is important, this
particular hole has significance to this club, as this basket
had a plaque dedicated to the memory of
Eric C. Yetter, a close friend to many
of the club members. We find it hard to understand the motive
behind this act, as it would take a significant amount of energy
and time to remove a basket, lock, and the cement base. A basket
like this is hard to conceal, and as with any act like this, is
hard to keep quiet. Therefore, the BCDGA is offering a
$250 reward for the return of the
basket, no questions asked. Bring the basket to the Park office
to receive the reward.
