Message from the TD: Congratulations to all who
participated in our first
Chain Link
event! Many of you have just competed in your first Disc golf
Tournament....Outstanding! I was especially impressed with the
way everyone kept score and followed the rules. Please come out
to our other events when you are able (check our web site for
details www.bcdga.org). Also, don't
forget to bring your family and friends...this sport is for
everyone!

BCDGA members Rex Hay, El Presidente Andrew Sweeton, Stephen
“the Canadian” Caffery, and myself Kevin McGorry each took a
trip to Druid Hill Park in Baltimore to donate our time to plant
trees at the Druid Hill course. Each of us had a great time, as

The Johnny Boge Classic at Tyler Park
“Tyler was trying to do its best impersonation of Brandywine.
Both rounds the tee of 24 was like standing in a cold wind
machine”, said Paul Wharton, who managed to fight thru the
gusting Tyler winds to take 1st place in the Masters Div. in
Saturday’s Johnny Boge Classic, held at Tyler State Park,
Newtown, PA.
47 players showed up for what turned out to be a great day of
disc golf. There was plenty of sunshine thru out the day, but
with temperatures in the low 40’s the wind gusts made for very
frigid conditions.

VTI - Virginia Team Invitational III was an incredible
event. Team PADE (Pennsylvania and Deleware) is pictured
below. We made it to the final 4 but lost in the semi
finals. Pictured below: O2-Bob Hoffman, W1-Amy Moser,
O4-John Bradway, A2-Dave Martinez, O1-Mike Moser, O3-Linc
Morgan, A1-Marc Brooks, M1-Jay Golbrecht and M2-Karlton Taylor
(not in picture). Saturday the team won 2 and lost 1.
On Sunday the team won the 2 morning matches (the first against
undefeated Bayville) and lost in the semi final match. The
